Urgent Care Center

It's 6:30 p.m. and somebody's fever shoots past 98.6. Every parent has been here before.

Every little bit helps when it comes to your children. Especially for childhood ailments that just won't wait another minute. That's one reason The Children's Hospital Urgent Care Center has extended hours – 6 - 9:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 11 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Call (918) 494-2553 for an appointment.

Unlike other after hours or minor emergency clinics, The Children's Hospital Urgent Care Center is designed expressly for pediatric patients (up to 18 years of age). With a staff consisting of a pediatrician, a pediatric resident, a registered nurse, nurse assistant and a clerk, the Center manages a host of childhood ailments (fever, asthma attacks, ear infections, broken bones and other minor emergencies) that can't wait until the next day. Parents are encouraged to call their child's pediatrician for authorization of the visit before coming to the Center.

So, remember the next time somebody's throat really hurts or somebody's fever is about to spike, The Children's Hospital Urgent Care Clinic is ready and waiting.
