Pediatric Sedation Services at Children’s Hospital
The Children’s Hospital at Saint Francis offers high-quality pediatric sedation services to help a child and their family during an outpatient or inpatient medical procedure. The program, administered by pediatric physician Ethan Warlick, M.D., provides uniform, safe and physician monitored sedation for children undergoing procedures such as MRI, CT, PET Scans and other diagnostic testing. Patients are monitored before, during and post-procedure.
Pediatric Sedation is provided at the Children’s Hospital on a case-by-case basis to outpatients as well as children hospitalized in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Eastern Oklahoma Perinatal Center (EOPC). The program was initiated under the guidelines of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations Standards in July 2005.
